During this time of the year, one often reflects upon the accomplishments of the past year and what made us grow as a hobby and what we still face as challenges. For BRAVO 737, 2023 has been a year of steady growth and reflection.
Primarily an X-Plane-based community, in 2023, BRAVO 737 embraced the Microsoft (ASOBO) world and began offering house, retro and custom liveries for MSFS2020. The leap has been a bit of a stiff learning curve, but we feel more comfortable each and every day. An entirely new system of design and painting, the MSFS2020 environment allows for great fidelity than X-Plane as well as an easier interface when model matching via VATSIM or the MSFS2020 system.
BRAVO 737 also went "on the road" to Houston, Texas and attending the Flight Simulation
Association FlightSimExpo 2023. The event was incredible and we learned so much about flight simming as well as those who are engaged in the community on a daily basis. Our partners at ACE Flight Sims presented during the opening reveal event as well as showcased their first product at their booth.
Finally, BRAVO 737 started planning for 2024. It is too early to discuss some of our plans, but needless to say, we are setting our goals very high! We would like to re-focus on our work in the livery creation as well as attempt additional partnerships with like-minded community partners to increase the options for BRAVO 737. Also, we would like to increase the engagement within our own BRAVO 737 family. We hope to do this by increased events, interesting downloads and offers of incentives for using your BISON call sign when flying online.
Ultimately, we just want to thank those who are always involved with our social media channels, contests, fly-ins and website offerings. We couldn't be a community without you - and for that we are so grateful. A little dream sparked during COVID has become a wonderful HUB for flight simmers looking for something unique. We hope we can deliver the same promise in 2024 and beyond!
