FLYING ONLINE WITH BRAVO 737

Writer's picture: Captain RussellCaptain Russell

One of the most exciting components of flight simming is the ability to fly in real time online with air traffic control and other pilots flying. Whether you choose VATSIM, IVAO or other networks, flying online can add another layer of immersion and realism to the flight simulator you are using.

If you are flying on VATSIM, in a BRAVO 737 livery aircraft, you can use our official information to define your flights as a BRAVO 737 flight. We are currently petitioning VATSIM to become a "virtual airline" but in the meantime, we have registered the following information which can be used on flight plans and during flights:

  • ICAO CODE: BZN

  • IATA CODE: B11

  • BASE HQ: TULSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KTUL)

  • CALL SIGN: BISON(ADD FLIGHT NUMBER) For example, BISON275

While you are flying on VATSIM, I'd love to hear other BRAVO 737 pilots flying. I use the call sign, BISON26. Most of the time, I fly routes within the western United States including KTUL, KDEN, KSLC, KPDX, KLAX, KSAN, KPHX, KLAS and KSEA. If you hear me, hit me up on the BRAVO737 Discord!

Wishing you blue skies BRAVO 737 Captains!
